Closet Corner Shelving and/or Hanging is Easy If You Have Right System

Designing the corner walls of your closet can be tricky, it is a balancing act between shelving and hanging space.  Some closet systems force the use of corner units; for which you have to waste two feet on one side of the wall, and another two feet on the other side of the wall to accommodate the corner unit and end up with useless narrow opening in the front.  While other systems force you to choose between hanging or shelving space to accommodate the design of the their systems.

Having a closet system that is modular in design can you give you greater flexibility to accommodate your storage needs without sacrificing precious closet space, whether it is short double hanging with long single hanging, shelving only, or a combination of all of the above.  Or simply the corner walls are not at a perfect 90 degree angle, as is the case with the picture below.
